Wedding Locations Germany
We offer weddings in all of Germany and Austria on request.
We will organize your wedding in any major city or surrounding areas including all available castles, monastery’s, historic places and churches. If you have already made travel plans we will find a location that will fit your needs.
We have put together some wedding packages, but also offer complete custom arranged weddings. Christian churches in Germany and Austria belong to either the Catholic church or Protestant Church. For weddings in a Catholic Church either the bride or groom has to be Catholic and both not have been previously married. Couples are bound to the regulations of the Vatican and the Catholic church. You will also have to provide some paperwork, for example, a Catholic baptism certificate and you have to belong to the Catholic Church at home. A referral and permission of your local priest will be required. If you are planning a church wedding we will need at least 12 months prior to the wedding date to be able to forward all paperwork needed.
Non-denominational ministers ” Freie Theologen” are available for your wedding and will marry couples at the location of their choice. They usually do not have a church where the wedding can take place. All other ceremonies are performed by a master of ceremony or free speaker. All weddings are symbolic and not legal binding in Germany. Please refer to our information page about legal weddings in Germany.
In addition, we plan weddings in Austria. Currently, we have Salzburg featured but other cities are available upon request. A wedding in Austria is legally possible if the wedding is planned more than five months prior your arrival.

Are you planning a wedding in a specific city in Germany, Austria or Switzerland and don’t know how and where to begin? We can help. We will research and customize an offer for you at a wedding location in Germany of your choice. This includes all reasonable services within your budget and wishes that you have for your special day.
Researching and finding the perfect setting is very time consuming and a lot of work has to be done to arrange a destination wedding. Therefore we have to ask a pre-consultation fee of US $1020.00. The fee is due before we start any research and covers our time spent and expenses for phone calls, research time as well as agency and administration fees. You will receive from us information on the location, restaurant/reception facility, vendors like photographers and florists and their pricing. If you decide to book the wedding with us we will honor the payment you already have made. The research and consultation fee is non-refundable.
Assistance in color coordination, themes, flower selection and designs, hotel stays, wedding favors and gifts, as well as pre or post activities and unusual wishes and requests, are not covered by the research fee. Those services will be included in the package if you wish to do so and detailed consultation will be done after you book our full service.
